At Geometry Mastery Academy, the security of your data—especially the data of student users—is a top priority. We implement industry-standard measures to protect your information.
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Passwords are hashed using industry-standard one-way hashing algorithms and are never stored in plain text.
We use Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor, to handle all transactions. Your credit card information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored on our servers. We only retain the last four digits of your card number for display purposes.
Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel who require it to perform their job functions. All internal access is logged and monitored. We enforce role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication for administrative accounts.
Student learning data is segregated by account. Students can only see their own progress. Parents can only see data for students linked to their account. Teachers can only see data for students in their assigned classrooms.
The AI Coach is designed for educational purposes only. It does not store conversation data on our servers, and conversations are not used by us for advertising or sold. See the "AI Coach and your data" section of our Privacy Policy for details. All AI interactions are filtered for inappropriate content.
Given that our Service is used by minors, we apply additional safeguards: minimal data collection, no behavioral advertising, no third-party tracking for advertising purposes, and verifiable parental consent for users under 13 (COPPA compliance).
In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities within 72 hours of discovery, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
We conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential risks. Our infrastructure providers maintain SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications.
